Faceless Soiree
Nathaniel Wojtalik: Jan 2008

Admittedly or not, conscious or unconscious, the poetic state, a transcendent experience of life, is what we are fundamentally seeking through our endeavors. We are overtaken by dissonances. Moments of life grow old and cannot be rejuvenated with dazzling colors. They can be evoked as a memory: little flashes at the dusk of life. Passing. Nascent stories develop independent of one another stimulated by a constant remixing. The varying psychogeographical terrains combine to release a single distant narrative subtly exploits the emotive resistivity of the world.

Faceless Soiree, a electroacoustic robot consisting of a circulatory system that powers 16 percussion instruments (each capable of up to 500bpm) an air chord organ, canjo, and "the window" along with various custom built analogue effects pedals.
