Big Red Button
Nathaniel Wojtalik: Nov 2007

In a world inundated with information, minute human encounters are more often than not overlooked. Details once noticed are left behind and ignored. people live too fast to appreciate the identity of their environment as well as one another. this identity is generated though time by means of experience. BIG RED BUTTON is a project created to place, or rather misplace objects in varying environments. each box is intended to be an enticement for pause, maybe catalyzing a closer look at a space one looked over or an interaction with a person one might not have otherwise. the world becomes an object trouve. anyway, who can really deny themselves the pleasure of pushing a big red button.

Participation in the project is currently closed. Thank you to all of those around the world who volunteered their time to place a button. The buttons as of Nov. 2008 are placed in the following cities.
